The DB Lunchtray!

DB Lunchtray

DB Lunchtray

When we look at the DB Lunchtray we see progression! We see a platform that truly gives you, the rider, unlimited potential for freeriding! Everything about the board is really pretty fantastic! There is a ton of continuous rocker running from tip to tip, it’s like a teeter-totter! However, unlike most boards with rocker, the Lunchtray has a nice deep and precise flushmounting system that slightly lowers the ride height, but more importantly, allows the degree of your trucks to remain unaffected! Not only is it flushmounted, it is flushmounted AND has optional wheelbases so you can really dial this board into your personal style!

The DB Lunchtray has some mean concave. Above the wheel wells there are hefty flared up areas of 3D concave that will keep your feet locked in no matter how fast you go or how big you slide. Looking at the Lunchtray you will probably notice that there are kicktails but without riding the board you can’t tell how functional they actually are. Believe us, with all of the rocker that this board has, those kicktails are wild and will pop your board up like crazy!

DB Longboards is coming out with some really rad stuff that is going to shape the way for boards of the future. The Lunchtray is just one installment of all their awesome plans to come! If you thought the invention of the wheel was revolutionary… wait til you get your feet on the DB Lunchtray!

The New Orangatang Moronga Longboard Wheel!

Orangatang Moronga

Orangatang Moronga

Guys and girls we are proud to present you with Orangatang’s newest wheel… The Orantatang Moronga! It is a center set freeriding dream-wheel! It has a 35mm contact patch and sits at 72.5mm tall. Like all of Orangatang’s other freeride inspired wheels, the Moronga comes with a stone-ground contact patch and beveled edges so right out of the package they are ready to shred! Their thin profile makes them very easy to kick out into slides. Usually this quality leads to unpredictable wheels that tend to slip out a little too easy but with the Moronga’s center set hub and Orangatang’s patented Euphorethane urethane compound these wheels are surprisingly delightful when getting sideways. Not to mention, since they are center set, you can flip them over as they start to cone, doubling the life of your wheels!

We got to check them out quite a while ago, in their prototype phases and were instantly in love. One of the things that we enjoy the most in regards to the Orangatang Moronga is how light they are. They are really fun on boards like the Tan Tien and Kanthaka. Basically anything with a kicktail, where you can do freestyle tricks, will pair up great with these bad boys. Its never fun to have a heavy wheel weighing your board down! AND once these guys wear down you can throw them on your mini-cruisers and they are extremely fun!

All around we are pretty much in love with these wonderful lumps of urethane and joy. Freeriders rejoice! Your wheel hath cometh!

West Coastin’ 2nd Report by Pam Díaz

It all started..

Faster than what I ever thought. We made a plan, we collected the money, and with the help of our sponsors we got the car. Thank you Daddies Board Shop, Blue Sky Longboards, Comet Skateboards and Caliber Trucks for your constant support!

The plan is to start in LA and drive in the van to Washington, in a two week roadtrip to the 1st Maryhill She-Ride.

The first spot was Malibu, ready to film and take pictures, we started shredding!

Since the very first moment it was a great feeling to be only girls in a car, driving in California with our skateboards.

After a very nice session in the sunset, we started heading to Santa Barbara, got ready in the supermarket and got the right equipment to go camping. We got there in the night, so I had no idea what was waiting for my eyes to see.

No words to explain the happinnes of waking up in the road in a beautiful morning with four beautiful ladies ready to skate.

The day was AWESOME! we met with locals who invited us to stay for another day, was great because the next day, after good rest we started our way to San Francisco.

In San Francisco we were planning to stay with the Sunset Sliders. The driving was long but worth it ten times!

San Francisco was epic, i would say it was the best stop by far, i love those people!

When we got to SF the boys were waiting for us at Big Dave’s house, our buddies Bandy, Nick, Jensen, Adrian and Jesse. It was amazing how many good vibes we felt since we got there.

The plan was to stay in SF for two nights.

The other day we woke up and went skating with the Sunset Sliders around San Francisco, they showed us some of their spots and we shredded in every of them.

Super grateful to spend time with shredskater brothers in that beautiful city, who took really good care of us

San Francisco has my heart.

Kyle Martin FSU Hawgs by Landyachtz: Review

Check out our ambassadors Richard Topete and Marcus Dalton having some fun on the hills in this new video! They are riding the Kyle Martin FSU Hawgs from Landyachtz and boy are they fun! They are a Center Set 70mm wheel with a huge core for long, smooth, buttery slides. They are 80a and come in either a pre-ground, ready to slide, super gnarly freeride wheel OR a high-gloss super grippy downhill version. Landyachtz did a good job on this one and we wanted everyone to see how much fun they can be!

Park Shredding from NW Shredders

Street and Park shredders tearing up some tranny! I think we are going to bring some of these boards in. It is hard to deny Portland skateboard companies, we just love them and so should you! Especially if you are from here! Lifeblood and Bacon have been killing it for a while… their team shreds! Check out the video, get stoked, and go skate! Who knows, next time you come in we might have some of their decks up on the walls!
